DCUO was launched just this past January on PlayStation 3 and PC with a standard subscription rate of $15 per month. Following an update, gamers will have the option of playing the game for free; doing so will entitle them to "all ongoing game updates," just no DLC packs. DLC can be purchased or players can opt for a higher membership level. The first is Premium Access. To qualify, you simply need to spend at least $5 on the in-game store or have a DCUO account from before the switch is made to F2P. This grants additional character, bank, inventory, and auction slots, more free Vault tickets, a higher in-game money limit, and more.
